The 2021 Marlin Season Is Phenomenal

2020 was a terrific fishing year due to the number of striped marlin around all year long. Covid19 put a damper on travel and made it very challenging for most folks but nevertheless the anglers that visited the Galapagos Islands were rewarded with some of the best billftshing they have ever experienced. Now we are well into February 2021 and the numbers of striped marlin being found on the banks and seamounts are amazing.

2021 has started off with an average of 10 to 50 striped marlin raised per day behind each boat. Keep in mind these are big striped marlin averaging 180 pounds for the most part. The Galapagos are open and ready to receive anglers. Yes there are a few aggravating protocols you have to follow such as a Covid test before you travel but Ecuador is also one of the easiest countries to visit. There are no visa requirements for Europeans and North Americans.
