2018/2019 Best Years For Marlin Since 2011 In The Galapagos Islands.
The incredible bite of striped marlin in the Galapagos went strong in most of 2018 and now 2019 has been even better. Boats are experiencing 10, 20, 30 and 70 plus raises of striped marlin 120 to 300 pounds. This is some of the best marlin fishing on the planet. Galapagos became known for its incredible marlin bite in the early 1990’s when Ecuadorian anglers from the Salinas Yacht Club would take their boats to the islands 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador.
Some would experience in excess of 150 bites of marlin a day!
