Dorado Cua Lodge – Corrientes/Argentina – Dorado/Golden Salmon Paradise
Dorado Cua Lodge and fishing area rest in the heart of the Isoro Wetlands in the Argentine province of Corrientes. Owned and operated by our great friend and partner Mario Battiston, Dorado Cua dorado fishing is an experience sure to please all sensory, visual, tasting and sporting senses. The over 160,000 hectares of natural reserve is host to birds, fish and wildlife unlike any other in the region. While you fish scan the marshes for nutria and capibara, take pictures of the river banks where emu run with their young and just enjoy the breathtaking sunsets. Each day is a portrait reminiscent of Monet, Pissarro, Degas and some of the best impressionist artist.
Double rooms in a beautiful lodge with a touch of French decoration and inspired by over 30 years of fishing the area, you will feel the surroundings calling out to you. Steaks, wines and local Argentine dishes all prepared by local cooks will be sure to please the most discerning taste buds.
Not only will you get treated to an unforgettable fishing but also a truly tasty culinary experience. Argentina is one of the most beautiful countries in South America. Dorado are the golden salmon of South America and the only true endemic salmonoid to the region. Besides dorado you can target piranha, surubi catfish and more.
