May 30, 2018Mantaraya fished 0-30 Bank and reported raising 30 striped marlin, 1 black marlin and 2 blue marlin. They released 4 striped marlin. The bank was loaded with marine life. They lost a black marlin believed to be over 500#.

May 31, 2018– Mate Humberto Hernandez who is brother to Captain Gus Hernandez fished onboard the Vertigo went to 0-30 Bank. He said they had action from over 20 striped marlin in the spread, 2 blue marlin and a sailfish. They released 3 striped marlin and 1 blue marlin about 350#. They lost a blue marlin over 600# jumping.

June 1, 2018On The Hook with Captain Gus Hernandez fished 0-30 Bank and raised 21 striped marlin and two blue marlin. They released 4 striped marlin and lost a blue about 450# next to the boat out of 9 marlin bites. Captain Gus said the most of the fish came into the spread in 2, 3 and 5’s and were coming from under. Not a lot of surface feeding fish or trailers today but lots of sardines marking on the monitor.
