The tuna bite which had slowed about 3 days has heated up again and we have the latest report from the Galapagos Island which continues to impress with a stellar year for top water tuna and wahoo action!

San Cristobal Island
April 16, 2018– Johnamar 2 Trolled for wahoo at Hancock Bank and when 5/10 on wahoo and 6/10 on yellowfin tuna while trolling 30# gear. On The Hook fished McGowen Reef and reported lots of tuna busting on the surface they went 10/30 on yellowfin tuna and 2/4 on wahoo while casting poppers and stick baits.
April 17, 2018– On The Hook returned to Mc Gowen Reef and went 17/40 on tuna and 2/4 on wahoo all on light tackle casting. There were plenty of tuna busting on the surface and enough action to keep anglers with their arms sore.
