We cannot emphasize just enough how good the fishing has been this time of the year for Manta/Ecuador which is in full season and for San Cristobal Island/Galapagos which is offseason. Blue, black and striped marlin action all this week in both Manta and Galapagos. If you want to fish South America’s best waters then don’t wait to book. San Cristobal Island:
October 8, 2018– On The Hook fished 0-30 Bank with Ecuagringo guest from Ecuador. The seas were very favorable with water temperature 76 F on the bank. They reported seeing dolphins and even a few whales. The morning its was a bit slow until about 10:35 am when the bite stated with 4 striped marlin in the spread on the West side of the bank. The action continued during the day to produce 18 striped marlin raised, 1 blue marlin and 1 black marlin. The crew went 6/13 striped marlin bites, 1/1 on blue marlin about 400# and 0/1 on a very nice black marlin estimated over 600# that spit the hook not far from the boat.
October 10, 2018– On The Hook fished the Barcasa and Punta Pitt looking for tuna and wahoo on the troll. They went 7/12 on wahoo and caught 6 yellowfin tuna trolling 30# standup gear as guest requested they wanted to troll. They ended the day fishing near port on the bottom to catch a few small grouper and bottom fish for dinner.

October 8, 2018– Miura went 1/6 on striped marlin and 1/2 on blue marlin. Titagao went 2/2 on blue marlin
October 9, 2018– Miura reported good action from wahoo going 4/7 while trolling and a few broomtail groupers jigging.
October 11, 2018– Miura 1/4 on blue marlin with excellent water conditions reported.
