The incredible marlin fishery in the Galapagos Islands has continued all year long without ceasing to amaze. One thing is for sure if you want your best chances at catching marlin then you have to go where the fish are. Right now and for the whole year that the best and most consistent fishing has been off of San Cristobal Island.
We are now well into December and several groups have enjoyed the hot action primarily on 0-30 Bank 23 miles North West of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, San Cristobal Island. A total of 10 days fishing by 3 different groups have gone by with 5 days dedicated to billfishing. A total of 79 striped marlin raised 49 bites and 16 striped marlin and 1 blue marlin released by the crew of the Patricia.
