Galapagos Marlin Report February 15, 2019.
120 striped marlin raised by boats Vertigo and Manta Raya. Peter Santini from Fishing Finatics and his guest raised 90, had 55 bites and released 13 striped marlin and only fished until 2:45 pm as guest were tired. Manta Raya fishing with Captain Mike Crosier from Ecuagringo and British guest Professor Ian Trayer and Barbara Watt raised 30 striped marlin with 28 bites and 12 releases.
Both crews reported double, triples and even quadruple hook ups. Total madness as lots of striped marlin feeding on the sardines bait balls on the banks of Española. Over 600 fish raised in 6 days by two boats from February 10 to 15, 2019. Folks this is the best marlin bite happening anywhere in the world right now.
