Galapagos Islands Marlin & Tuna Report
Fellow Anglers,
At the moment we have not heard of a better place to catch large stripe marlin. The Galapagos Islands are producing raises of 20 to 60 plus striped marlin per day. Lots of bait and life on the banks are affording our guest with the best billftshing of their lifetimes.
Very few places in the world can rival the action we are seeing now in January 2020 in the Galapagos. If you want to be a part of this incredible bite then you need to book now!
San Cristobal Island:
Father and daughter anglers Randall & Maddie Sook fished with the Ecuagringo team for 5 days. They spent 4 days fishing for marlin and 1 day fishing for wahoo, tuna and bottom fish. We are including their testimonial in this report in case you still have any doubts about the Galapagos Islands.
The Sooks fished January 16, 17, 18 and 20 for marlin and took to alternative fishing on the 19th. They racked up 36 striped marlin releases and 2 blue marlin out of a total 79 marlin bites in 4 days.
They managed to raise over 200 marlin during their 4 day trip. Remember that many striped marlin raised do not actually strike a lure or bait but rather follow a teaser and when you have 2, 4, 6 or even 8 fish in the spread at the same time with only two anglers you just may not be able to handle more than two bites at one time.
