Manta continues to sport a hot bite. If you are looking for a close and reasonable destination in South America then you need to consider Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Manta has some of the most reliable blue marlin fishing without having to navigate 100 miles. Daily runs 25 to 40 miles and you are on the fish. Galapagos continues to provide some of the best tuna fishing in the world!

Manta continues to be on fire with a terrific blue marlin bite that usually starts strong in June every year.
June 12, 2017– Atomic raised 6 blue marlin had 5 bites and released 2. Panga Mi Pana went 2/4 on blue marlin and 1/2 on striped marlin. Panga Explorer raised 7 blue marlin and caught 3.
June 13, 2017– Atomic went 1/3 on blue marlin. Panga Don Teofilo went 3/8 on blue marlin. Panga Rey David went 1/4 on blue marlin and 1/2 on sailfish.
June 15, 2017– Amalita caught 3 out 4 blue marlin bites fishing 30 miles West of Manta. Panga Don Teofilo went 2/5 on blue marlin. Panga Mi Pana fishing for wahoo near the cobia cages caught 9 wahoo. Panga Explorer went 1/4 on blue marlin. Panga Soledad went 1/2 on blue marlin landing a nice fish over 600#.

June 12, 2017– Patricia fished with German guest and caught 19 big eye tunas and several skipjacks fishing McGowen Reef.
June 13, 2017– Patricia fished again with same group and fished on 0-30 Bank catching 3 nice big eye tunas about 70 to 80# and had a nice blue marlin chase the teaser but would not eat. They ended the day going 1/3 on striped marlin.
