The water temperatures have continued warm this year and the banks off Espanola Island have paid off greatly producing excellent striped marlin fishing and even a few blues in June and July.
The On the Hook reported on July 15, 2014 fishing on one of the banks of Espanola having 12 bites and releasing 3 striped marlin and one blue marlin.
Water was 75 F and there was plenty of sea life in birds and dolphins.
The banks of Espanola have really turned on this year and have been incredibly productive.
