The marlin action out of Manta, Ecuador continues to be red hot! Blue marlin, striped marlin and black marlin being caught almost everyday for the past week. The Galapagos Islands have had a mixture of cooler water come through averaging 73/74 F which has activated the striped marlin and tuna bite. The top water tuna action North of San Cristobal has been very good for the past week.

Nov 25, 2018– A local skiff fishing for tuna topwater near Punta Pitt reported catching 26 yellowfin tuna from 45 to 100# and a nice wahoo about 80# casting plugs at surface feeding tuna. Two local anglers had over 60 bites.
Nov 27, 2018– Local artisans skiff fishing for grouper on 0-30 bank reported seeing over 20 tailing striped marlin during the day. Nicholas Schiess who captains Tesoro Galapagos has reported the past few weeks and average of 8 to 15 striped marlin bite on this bank.

Nov 27, 2018– Captain Andres Calero raised 4 blue marlin and released 2 and missed a nice black marlin onboard Miura.
Nov 28, 2018– Candy went 4/5 on blue marlin and 0/1 on striped marlin. Solo Mia went 0/3 on blue marlin and 1/2 on striped marlin. Eddie went 2/4 on blue marlin and 2/5 on striped marlin.
Nov 29, 2018– Candy went 2/4 on blue marlin. Solo Mia had 1/3 on blue marlin. Amiramar went 2/4 on blue marlin. Miura with Captain Andres Calero had 0/1 on blue marlin and 0/1 on striped marlin.
