Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo and Swordfish Fishing Reports!
December 9-13, 2017
The bite has been phenomenal in Manta-Ecuador for the past week. Good action from aggressive blue marlin and some nice fish in the 400 to 600# range. Salinas has had an incredible wahoo bite with boats having double digit bites. Galapagos continues to deliver excellent big eye tuna.

Dec 9, 2017– is an updated on what we reported with new information from boats we did not have reports from previously when last report went out: Isabela went 2/5 on blue marlin. Aggie 1/2 on striped marlin and 0/2 on blue marlin. San Thomas 1/2 on blue marlin. Golfito went 1/2 on blue marlin and Blue Fin 1/3 on blue marlin.
Dec 10, 2017– Dinamo went 2/4 on blue marlin fishing 30 miles West of Manta. Panga Mario went 1/3 on blue marlin and 1/1 on swordfish and 1/1 on striped marlin. Panga Don Tiofilo ent 1/3 on blue marlin catching a nice fish over 600#. Panga Explorer went 0/4 on blue marlin.
Dec 11, 2017– Dinamo went 1/2 on blue marlin and 2/2 on striped marlin fishing same area. Panga Mi Pana went 1/3 on blue marlin. Panga Henry fishing 45 miles Northwest had an exceptional day going 4/7 on blue marlin that bit and raised a total of 9 with 2 that did not eat.
Dec 12, 2017– Dinamo fished its last day with a group from Brazil and went 0/3 on blue marlin and 1/2 on striped marlin

Dec 12, 2017– Several boats reported the wahoo bite was fantastic with some boats having as many as 20 to 25 plus wahoo bites in a day. Mary Lou caught a blue marlin going 1/2 on blues.
Dec 13, 2017– Again the wahoo bite was pretty good with most boats reporting 8 to 15 bites for wahoo with a few fish over 80#.

Dec 11, 2017– Jhonamar 2 fished the fads North of San Cristobal Island and caught 9 big eye tuna 25 to 45# and several mahi- mahi. While trolling away from the fads they hooked and released a nice striped marlin. Water conditions were blue green and water color has improved a bit since last week.
