The fishing out of the Galapagos Islands for striped marlin continues to be the most reliable year round fishery. The bite has not slowed now in June and you can expect to encounter lots of hungry striped marlin if you fish these waters.
One of our boats, the Patricia, captained by Yuri Gutierrez fished June 17, 2021 on 0-30 Bank and found lots of surface feeding striped marlin. Sardines were thick and they raised 28 striped marlin, had 18 bites and released 12 fish on small lures with 30# and 50# standup.
Folks if you want to catch striped marlin in a place that is open and virtually crime and COVID free then look no further than the Galapagos Islands.
