The fun and incredible striped marlin bite continues in the Galapagos with boats Vertigo and Manta Raya fishing the past 2 weeks out of Española Bank from San Cristobal Island. Perfect weather, cobalt blue water conditions and lots of bait are all here to make this unique fishery one of the best marlin bites in the world.
Feb 19, 2019- Peter Santini from Sportfishing Galapagos raised 52 striped marlin, had 39 bites and released 21. He reported lots of sardines on the surface and birds feeding. Manta Raya raised with Ecuagringo guest Harald and Norma Jahl 45 striped marlin, had 37 bites and 13 releases.
The calm waters, vast marine life and incredible amounts of marlin and tuna make the Galapagos one of the hottest bites anywhere happening now. We have very little availability until May 2019 and we are already booking 2020.
