Galapagos Islands:

San Cristobal Island

July 19, 2018– On The Hook fished with Team Ecuagringo. Junior angler Franco Escobar had his first shot at a striped marlin about 200# but marlin spit the hook on the run. Seas were very rough making fishing difficult. The team fished for 4 hours before heading back to port and raised 4 striped marlin with 1 bite. Fish were finicky probably due to the very slow troll because of sea chop making it difficult to navigate fast enough.
