Fellow Anglers,
The amazing marlin and tuna action still continues in the Galapagos. Waters have averaged 72/73 F the last few days but warm water is sitting around the Northern islands. The promise of good striped marlin bite and excellent tuna action continues but seas are rougher this time of the year.
Galapagos Islands
San Cristobal Island
July 2, 2018– On The Hook went to Rosa Blanca to fish for marlin. Seas were rough and windy but it did not take long after arriving on the Honey Hole that they were greeted by hungry striped marlin. By 1 pm the crew had raised 13 striped marlin, had 7 bites and released 4 nice stripes all estimated 180 to 200#. They headed to port early as guest wore out early.
Santa Cruz Island
