Marlin, Tuna & Swordfish Report for Ecuador & The Galapagos Islands
November 10-13, 2017

Ecuador in general has been pretty active with all destinations reporting good fishing the last week. Galapagos has been on fire with tuna, Salinas has seen marlin action and Manta as well.
Ecuador:
Manta
Manta saw some steady action mainly of blue marlin. Striped marlin were absent most of the last few days and there were some nice blues caught.
November 10, 2017– Panga Mazinger went 1/4 on blue marlin. Panga Dorado went 2/5 on blue marlin.
November 11, 2017– Black Pearl raised 4 blue marlin, caught 2 and lost 1. Atomic went 2/2 on blue marlin. Panga Henry had 1/3 on blue marlin.
November 12, 2017– Titagao went 1/2 on blue marlin. Golfito went 2/4 on Blue marlin. Panga Mazinger went 2/3 on blue marlin.
November 13, 2017- San Thomas went 1/6 on striped marlin. Panga Explorer went 2/4 on striped marlin and 1/2 on blue marlin. Panga Martin went 0/2 on striped marlin and 1/1 on blue marlin.
Salinas
Salinas has been coming to life the last few weeks with blue and striped marlin action reported as well as some black marlin.
Nov 11, 2017– Chasin Tail 2/4 on striped marlin. Juvenil had 3 wahoo and a black marlin. Chola lost 2 blue marlin and caught a striped marlin.
Nov 12, 2017– Fishing was much slower and boats reported a few wahoo and no marlin.
Galapagos Islands
San Cristobal Island

Nov 10, 2017– Mate Humberto fishing on a skiff with poppers near Punta Pitt caught 22 big eye tuna from 30 to 80# for plenty of rod bending action.
Nov 11, 2017– Humberto once again fished out of Punta Pitt on a skiff with poppers and caught 30 big eye tunas al ranging from 30 to 80#.
Nov 12, 2017– Humberto on his final day fishing out of the same skiff caught 25 big eye tunas all 20 to 70# and boated a nice big eye that weighed out at 105#.
