Mar 12, 2017Fishing Reports

Fellow Anglers,

We are happy with the response our anglers are having to our reports and the increased interest shown in all the wonderful fishing destinations we provide. This past week we have highlights from several locations. There was terrific action in Manta on most of the week. The tuna bite in Galapagos has been excellent and Peru had a billfish tournament that had striped marlin, black marlin and tuna.

We received info that the anual Mancora/Cabo Blanco International Tournament was held on March 9-11, 2017. However we only have a report for March 9 in which 16 boats from Peru and Ecuador raised 40 striped marlin, 5 black marlin and 1 blue. 22 striped marlin were released and 2 black marlin. 18 tunas were caught between all the boats.
