Gulf of Guayaquil
Oct 19 and 20, 2018– Team Ecuagringo enjoyed a fast action two days of incredible corvina fishing out of Posorja, Ecuador. We fished the gulf of Guayaquil famous for its Estuary systems and great snook and corvina fishing. Using light 15 lb tackle and live shrimp the bites were nonstop for 7 hours a day approximately. Granted this type of generous fishing is not everyday and it takes work to find the fish at times. 3 anglers on the Ecuagringo team caught over 25 corvina each day, missed several more for a total of 56 corvinas ranging from 5 to 16 lbs. Very nice fun on light tackle of a strong fighter.
