San Cristobal Island

November 4, 2023– Johnamar fished Rosa Blanca Bank and raised 15 striped marlin and 1 black marlin, had 9 bites and released 4 on lures by request of anglers from mainland Ecuador. The black marlin spit the hook after about 5 minutes of continuous jumps and was estimated around 500 pounds.. They also caught 2 nice mahi and 4 yellowfin tuna that would make a good dinner. Water temperature was reported at 78 F on the bank.
