Ecuador & Galapagos Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo and Swordfish

The fishing continues to be amazing with huge fish, lots of action in Salinas and Manta of blue, striped and black marlin. The Galapagos are producing good numbers of tuna and wahoo. Don’t miss out on this hot action as there are still some available windows to book for Salinas, Manta and San Cristobal/Galapagos.
Ecuador:
Salinas
Jan 12, 2018– Mar Azul fishing North of Salinas near Isla de la Plata caught a very nice blue marlin of 924 lb and went 1/2 on striped marlin. Don Chuma went 1/2 on blue marlin, 0/1 on black marlin and lost several striped marlin. Chola caught 7 striped marlin but it is unclear how many more they had action from.
Jan 14, 2018– Candy went 1/3 on blue marlin over 500 lb and 0/2 on striped marlin. Another boat from the Salinas Yacht Club reported 2/2 on black marlin but it is unclear if they anymore action.
Jan 15, 2018– Candy caught a nice blue marlin and 1 striped marlin. Mary Lou went 1/3 on blue marlin.

Manta
Jan 14, 2018– Panga Mazinger ent 1/3 on blue marlin and 0/1 on black marlin. Panga Don Henry went 4/5 on striped marlin and 1 blue estimated over 600 that landed inside the boat luckily not injuring anyone.
Jan 15, 2018– Panga Mi Pana went 1/2 on blue marlin. Panga Nano Marley went 1/3 on striped marlin and 1/1 on blue marlin. Panga Joao 2 went 0/1 on blue marlin.
San Cristobal, Galapagos Islands
Jan 14, 2018– Jhonamar 2 reported fishing on 0-30 Bank going 3/6 on striped marlin, 0/1 on a very nice and large black marlin estimated over 700 lb that spit the hook and a few nice tunas around 30 lb.
Jan 15, 2018– Jhonamar 2 went 12/ 22 on wahoo fishing the East side of San Cristobal Island.
Folks there is some very good fishing going on. Whatever your taste for saltwater adventure chances are we have something to offer. Look no farther than Ecuador or the Galapagos Islands for a safe destination to take the spouse and family. Great fishing, friendly people and less than a 4 hour flight from the USA.
