Awesome double digit marlin action continues in the Galapagos Islands out of San Cristobal Island plus tuna topwater out of Santa Cruz Island

We are now officially coming out of the prime season for marlin in the Galapagos and the bite continues to be double digits. Water is currently 72 F but the banks are loaded with striped marlin. Local anglers from Santa Cruz are reporting lots of yellowfin tuna out of San Luis Bank and McGowen Reef so the topwater action I every good as well with 20 to 40 bites reported of tuna a day.

June 25, 2019– Mantaraya fished with angler Jens Laub out of 0-30 Bank for striped marlin. Water has cooled to 72 F and the fish were thick with nonstop action all day. Jens caught 10 striped marlin with some pushing 300 pounds before tiring out and the are landed 2 more before heading in. They released 12 out of 17 bites and raised 33 marlin.
