Feb 13, 2022– Mantarraya, Johnamar, Coyote and Don Wacho all fishing for local anglers from Ecuador had and estimated 30 to 40 raises of sritiped marlin each on Rosa Blanca bank. Vertigo 2 reported raising over 30 fish as well. Over 50 striped marlin were released between all boats this day.
Feb 14, 2022– Vertigo 2 with Peter Santini released 1 blue marlin estimated around 500 lbs and 4 stripes, raised 2 blues and 30 striped marlin. Mantarraya, Johnamar, Coyote and Don Wacho raised combined about 90 striped marlin with close to 30 releases.
Feb 15, 2022– Vertigo 2 went bottom fishing and caught groupers and 4 yellowing tuna on topwater and Don Wacho went to Rosa Blanca Bank and reported about 30 striped marlin raised and 10 releases.
Feb 16, 2022– All boats reported seeing tailers and seeing fish on the fish finders but bite was finicky and fish were not agressive. Vertigo 2 with Peter Santini reported 9 bites and 7 releases and raised 14 striped marlin. The rest of the boat reported 10 to 15 raises on average and a total of 15 fish released between Johanamar, Mantarraya, Coyote and Don Wacho.
