Mario Battiston is owner/operator of one of the finest lodges in the heart of golden salmon country. Also know as dorado, golden salmon are serious fresh water warriors. The fresh water marshes of Isoro and the Parana river are home to this gladiator. With most fish averaging 2 to 8 lbs they are perfect on the fly. Dorado can grow in excess of 50 pounds.
